A 25 year old man identified as Ajayi Kehinde, drowned on Monday April
4th after he parked his SUV close at the Oke Afa canal in Isolo and
jumped into the canal. According to PM news, the identity of the man was
known through the vehicle particulars in the SUV.
The reason for the bizarre action is not yet known as no relative of the
deceased has been located. Also the body of the deceased has not been
recovered as it seemed the police do not have the necessary equipment to
do so.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo
Badmos confirmed the incident. She said the police were making efforts
to recover his body and that investigation into the matter is ongoing.
