This comes on the heels
of reports from our bureau de change (BDC) sources who said the nation’s
currency now trades between N318 and N320 for a dollar, as against the
N319 and N320 it was on Wednesday, April 6.
The Nigerian currency had remained firm for about five consecutive days
(April 1 – 5) but plummeted to N319 on Wednesday, April 6.

“It is back to N318 although some are selling at N319 and N320,” one of
our reliable BDC sources disclosed.
Another source told NAIJ.com: “As at this morning, the dollar trades at
N318 but the worst you can get it for is N320. I don’t think it will go
below that in the nearest future.”
